GABRIELA SALAZAR
As a gardener, educator, international speaker, and thought leader in the farmer-florist movement, GABRIELA SALAZAR is passionate about inspiring others to live a life connected with flowers and nature. She founded la MUSA de las FLORES and the floral design school HEARTFELT FLORISTRY, where she teaches the transformative power when connecting with flowers.
She authentically shares all she has learned about growing and designing flowers with countless women worldwide. She has designed for fashion and design clients, including Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Hermes, Gucci, and Mont Blanc. Gabriela has led large design teams for some of the world's most luxurious events. Her absolute joy is found in garden design, with her most recent work being Villa Antonia, Puerto Escondido, Mexico.
Gabriela grew up in San Luis Potosí, where her grandmother and mother inspired her with nature and painting. She studied interior design at Inchbald School of Design. Her travels have taken her to some of her favorite gardens, such as Sissinghurst, Kew Gardens, Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Monet’s Garden, and more. Today, Gabriela lives in her garden in the mountains of Valle de Bravo, Mexico.
WAGNER KREUSCH
WAGNER KREUSCH is a London based florist born in Brazil best known for his long career dedicated to teaching floristry and his graphic and sculptural work highly inspired by contemporary Ikebana.
Wagner studied at the renowned SOGETSU SCHOOL OF IKEBANA under the supervision of the late Ikebana master and former director of Sogetsu London, Mr Shigeo Suga. Wagner is a certified Sogetsu teacher simultaneously practicing and teaching the art form today.
In 2017, Wagner Co-founded the LONDON FLOWER SCHOOL which has become renowned around the world for pushing boundaries of education in the flower industry. As LFS Co-founder and Creative Director, Wagner’s focus was to bring awareness to floristry as an art form and to use his voice as a teacher to serve the industry that he is so passionate about.
Within the last year Wagner took the opportunity to be fully immersed in the garden, embarking on a new journey to develop his art practice bringing to the foreground consciousness around the profession of floristry in the hope that more people can experience it's powerful healing qualities as well as highlighting awareness of the fragility of our natural environments.
