HEARTFELT FLORISTRY is a community of growers and designers. Our online floral design school is designed to hone your flower skills both as a grower and floral designer. The library courses is made up of two collections, Floral Foundations and Floral Productions. Part one is our Floral Foundations collection where you will learn my ‘flowers from the heart’ core approach to all my floral designs. Part two is our Floral Production collection where you will learn the production process of designing for a sustainable wedding or event.

PART ONE: Floral Foundations

MODULE 1
Centerpieces

In this module, you will learn Gabriela's intuitive approach to sustainable floral designs, something she calls practicing ‘flowers from the heart.’ She will discuss things like color palettes and how the attributes of each flower add texture and movement to your arrangement.

Module 2
Table styling

In this module, you will further develop your skills in designing a centerpiece arrangement. Gabriela will add to the concepts you have learned in Module 1 by teaching you how to style a table with satellite arrangements and other elements. She finishes this class by discussing how to package arrangements for transporting.

Module 3
Hand-tied Bouquet - Threading Technique

In this module, you will learn how to design a hand-tied bouquet using Gabriela's simple threading technique that teaches you how to support the flowers. She will discuss how to process flowers and how to source them locally. This module includes several bouquet recipes and tips on how to practice stress-free.

Module 4
Wedding Florals - Stem Holding Techniuqe

In this module, you will learn how to make a romantic, effortless, soft white bridal bouquet. Gabriela teaches you a stem-holding technique to create a lush, romantic wedding bouquet.

Module 5
Large Scale Arrangements

In this module, you will learn the details of a large-scale arrangement. Gabriela will teach you how to select branches and how to construct these masterpieces on sight.

Module 1
Production of Centerpieces

This module teaches you how to produce multiple centerpieces for weddings or events. Gabriela will discuss details of ‘the week of the wedding’ and how to think through the process of completing multiples of the same design. She will finish this class with an example of how to pack centerpieces for transportation.
