Imagine two days along the seaside surrounded by the abundance
of Puerto Escondido; immersing yourself in an experience that will change your floral design journey.
Join Gabriela Salazar and Wagner Kreusch along the beautiful Pacific seaside of Puerto Escondido, Mexico, for a two day floral design journey that will take you out of your comfort zone.
Unlock your own inner artist and experience the force of nature in our journey for creativity. The program is tailored to inspire you to respond creatively and consciously to the unique landscape at Puerto Escondido while also being able to experience spaces created by some of the world's most celebrated architects.
Wagner and Gabriela will share their knowledge and personal design journeys while guiding you on your own creative process. Our goal is to create a environment of exchange between creatives where the participants have an opportunity to explore their thought process while also learning from other like minded people. Come create with the abundance of the land and other fresh flowers.
The workshop will take place at Villa Antonia, a private residence designed by the celebrated Mexican Architect Alberto Kalach, with gardens designed by Gabriela Salazar and María Kalach.
DAY 1 - JANUARY 23, 2024
Centerpieces and Large Scale Arrangements
with Gabriela Salazar
Inspired by the seasonality of Puerto Escondido, Gabriela will guide you on how to create beautiful arrangements and develop your own unique style using local foliage, plants and sustainable practices; finding the beauty of the ephemeral and fragility of life.
Locally inspired morning refreshments and lunch.
DAY 2 - JANUARY 24, 2024
Floral Sculptures
with Wagner Kreusch
A day dedicated to experimentation. The day will start with a Sogetsu Ikebana demonstration by Wagner exploring basic design concepts. Participants will be guided to create their unique botanical expression responding to the surrounding landscape and architecture.

CONSIDERATIONS:
Please note, that transportation to Puerto Escondido and lodging are not included in registration. Due to the the exclusivity of the local community at Puerto Escondido, students are encouraged to book hotel reservations as soon as the decision of participating in workshop is made. Special room rates are available using the contact information provided below under Accommodations. Registration is non-refundable. Under certain circumstances registration can be transferred to another collaborative workshop should the need arise and is at the discretion of la MUSA de las FLORES.
